DANIEL MASIGA<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1f6991b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1f6991b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Dr. Masiga is the Principal Scientist and Head of Animal Health Theme.\u00a0<\/p><p>Dr. Masiga leads a diverse group that conducts research to understand the biology of vectors of livestock diseases, primarily tsetse flies and ticks.\u00a0 He is also interested in vector-pathogen interactions, and the molecular basis of behaviours, such as the chemosensing that enables disease vectors to navigate their environments.
